Description
Miners' helmets and caps were initially used to have a place to hold a lamp while working, they were later developed into a safety device to protect the miner. Its manufacture was inspired by the steel helmets of the Great War. A "Hard-Boiled Hat" was created (made of steamed leather, canvas, glue, and black paint).
