Detailed plan of the arastra: a system operated by mules, oxen and, sometimes, workers, which served to crush silver and gold ores previously spread in shallow circular pits. It is made up of a central post to which the different ropes and heavy stones are tied. In the background you can see a construction in a field with little vegetation.
