Translation: (16)/ Attention /The city; Militar Commander of this mineral / has published a notice in which he expresses his-/ sincere duties to protect all Americans and other peaceful and industrious foreigners residing in this town.// Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to carry weapons outside the limits of their homes. I therefore beg all foreigners to do everything in their power to consolidate the good feelings of the Mexican citizens and their worthy authorities.
